Couples Intensives
Our evidence-based marital counseling is a comprehensive, all-inclusive approach to healing intimate bonds. It has been clinically proven to reduce relationship distress and improve relationship satisfaction.
Reaching out about your relationship takes courage. Many couples wait years before seeking help; I work to shorten that gap and treat couples therapy not as a failure, but as a step toward the relationship you’ve been hoping for.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing exclusively in couples therapy, with advanced training in the Developmental Model (mentor group participant), Gottman Method certification, PACT (Levels I & II), Discernment Counseling, and AANE certification for neurodivergent couples. I’ve co-led The Art & Science of Love workshops and taught Gottman Method trainings nationwide.
As founder of Bmore Couples Center, I offer intensives, weekly therapy, and professional training. I formerly taught at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, covering clinical practice, family therapy, and addiction treatment.
For couples, it’s a place to work through challenges — from recovery to new parenthood to fertility journeys — with guidance grounded in the Developmental Model, Gottman Method, PACT, Discernment Counseling, and more.
· For therapists, it’s a training ground — offering workshops, supervision, and consultation to build confidence and skill in couples work.
· For the community, it’s becoming a hub of resources: articles, podcasts, videos, and practical tools for healthier relationships.
This is just the beginning.
It is not easy reaching out for help, especially when in pain about your relationship! It takes caourage!

Several years ago, after working as a generalist so to speak, I began devoting my practice to working with couples on what they want to create in their relationship.
To be honest, too, I have also learned so much from the couples I have seen over the years. In fact it is the hard work that many couples put in that energizes me to learn more about couples, marriages, committed relationships, and couples therapy.
